The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has put the case for continued investment in key transport infrastructure projects to the government ahead of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR), due to be published on the 20 October. The leading trade body has identified a series of road and rail schemes that must be spared the axe in the interests of maintaining the UK’s economic recovery and ensuring future international competitiveness.
